This page presents the (soon to be) public data release of the LOFAR international baseline wide-field images and catalogues of the Boötes field at ~0.3” (0.50” x 0.34”), ~0.6” (0.67” x 0.60”), and 1.2” (2.23” x 1.23”) resolutions. The images reach a best sensitivity of 33.8 µJy/beam at 0.3”, 44.2 µJy/beam at 0.6”, and 81.3 µJy/beam at 1.2” using a single 8-h pointing. Above 5 sigma, 4074 sources at 0.3”, 4455 sources at 0.6”, and 2480 sources at 1.2” are detected within the 2.5 x 2.5 degrees field of view.
The images and catalogues were produced following the procedure described by Escott et al. (2026). These images were generated using 27 self-calibrated directions. For the 0.3” and 0.6” resolution images, the 27 facets were imaged separately and we also release a mosaic image of these resolution images. At 1.2” resolution, the whole field of view was imaged at once.
For 6-arcsec products for Boötes please see the release page for DR1 of the 6-arcsec deep fields survey.
If you use these data for science please cite the relevant papers and give appropriate acknowledgements.
Below we provide:
Wide field products:
